Selling my car on craigslist, this individual text me and wanted to do the typical "send a check" scam for their "client". This is a known scam where they mail you a bogus check that bounces later and in the meantime ask you to wire money to ship your car or item.
Selling my car on craigslist, this individual text me and wanted to do the typical "send a check" scam for their "client". This is a known scam where they mail you a bogus check that bounces later and in the meantime ask you to wire money to ship your car or item.
Just got called by this same number trying to pass of a bogus cashiers check for an expensive race bicycle. Do not deal with this person it is a scam. I realized this and i told him i would not accept anything but a US Postal money order . Do not accept a cashiers check or certified bank check from them it is a scam!
