Whoever "Equality Texas" is, I am very irritated that they would call on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't answer and call went to answering machine. Left no message.
Called my mobile at 7:16pm Central tonight. Caller ID only shows "Texas". No voicemail was left. If this was Equality Texas, they're a legitimate organization but I can't imagine they'd be calling anyone on a Sunday, as reported by the last person 3 days ago. My guess is that scammers are spoofing ET's phone number to make it look legit.
How does "Equality Texas" get away with calling our landline at 8:47 in the evening? That's insane! Nobody's going to respond favorably to being interrupted at home in the evening.
