Scam...They called family saying I will be charged with fraud and arrested?So I called them.They said we're from the investigation of fraud and economic dept.Said a warrant for my arrest was going to be issued.Then they said I could resolve the issue.I asked how?They told me to go to CVS or Wal Mart and send a Money Gram
Got a similar call as above from Phone#512-599-9782....which went to my Voice mail...from Kathleen White of fraud and economic complaint unit. I spent an hour researching and concluded that its a scam. So beware!!
I did a lot of looking into this call..it's a company called EZ corp out of Austin Tx..They were Fined by our Government over 10 million dollars for illegal Debt collection and could not try recover any outstanding loans to its 130,000 payday loans and pawn shops!! They are more commonly known as EZ money payday loan co and EZ pawn!!! I called the federal trade commission on them today look them up under EZ corp scam!!
