Google Internet search result hit "booster" scammer, brought to you by R Squared Media on your Caller ID. Changes number every day. Calls every day. I do not answer, e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y. I have reported to FCC.gov, certainly to no avail. <<<heavy sigh>>>
I didn't answer and they actually left a voicemail. It was from an automated system telling me "Congratulations, you have been pre-approved for a payday loan." They tell me to go to www.myfastwire.com and enter a promo code. I've never applied for any kind of loan like that so totally a spam phishing call.
claim my application for a payday loan was approved, I didn't apply for one, and I certainly wouldn't apply to some place in TX when I live on the other side of the country
Got a robocall from this new spoofed number (512-601-6067; 'Dale, TX') with an old scam: This was the same recorded 'Congratulations, you have been pre-approved for a payday loan...........blah, blah, blah' that I have received from other numbers in the past. For the life of me I can't understand bombarding the same numbers (e.g., mine and yours) over and over with the same moronic scams but from differing spoofed numbers. For anyone on this thread that does not already know, the 'no call' list is useless here; these are CRIMINALS who are highjacking numbers to randomly call numbers to commit fraud. Just block the number (if you phone allows) and move on.
