Some woman calls, asks for me and wants to know if I am at home to discuss my "claim with Continental". I asked her what she was talking about. She talked in circles and then gave me an 855 # to call. I told her that I didn't want to call some other number, she needed to tell me what this was about. She said she didn't know. I asked how she could "discuss it with me" if she didn't know what it was. She asked if I was at home. I said no. She then said "you have been notified."...uh, no, I haven't been notified about squat. Reeks of collections scam. I call the number back and get "you have reached the 'investigations department', no messages are allowed on this phone. This call will be terminated." What legitimate business 1) does not state their name and 2) does not allow messages? Scam central. Called again today. I cussed at her, hung up and blocked the #.
I got the same call, but from a douche... He said pretty much the same thing. gave me the claim # starting 2017-xxxxxx, don't remember all the number and that I officially notified. This is a big SCAM. don't fall for the scare tactic...
