Indian caller with a very thick accent said he was tec support for Microsoft and wanted to show an internal rot in my computer his words not mine. So I play along as it was a slow day at work and he wants me to push the windows button on the keyboard so I say I did and he says we have to do it at the same time and 1 2 3 go he says it did not work and gives me a code type sequence to put in so he can remotely link with my computer. Unfortunately it was lunch time so I had to stop him there and inform him that I was confident he did not work for Microsoft for the fact that I don't own a computer or a Microsoft products nor did I think Microsoft would dial me up to save my device because saved devices don't generate new income and that it would cost a lot for them to be the worlds I t dept he did not argue the fact nor call back. You guys are so serious with this guy have a little fun he's wasteing your time so go on and waste a little of his. But for sure big time scammer.
Called at 8:00am. Indian guy named Daniel with his buddies chatting in the background said he was from computer technical department. I am my own computer technical department and this guy is a scammer. I hung up on him and blocked number.
Did not get his name. Said I have problems with my computer. I bought it used, our son in law takes cars of the problems with it. Said he will call me back when I am at home with my computer. Sounds like a scam to me.
