They called me and I called them back. They said they were with the IRS and if I did not pay $1100 they would put an arrest warrant out for my name. My husband is a police officer I told them to go ahead and the guy on the phone proceeded to argue with me when I asked for them to send me documentation. I also did not understand how they knew it was me when all I gave was my name and birthdate. I refused to give them any sort of social security. This is a total scam do not buy into it. I called back and told them I reported them to the authorities.
Got 2 calls from this number today. Decided to call it back to have a little fun. At first I tried to cal back with *67 so my number didn't come up on their end. Call would not go through. Called back without *67. After about 20 seconds of silence the phone rang and some [***] picked up, saying it was the IRS and this is "officer so and so." He told me that I owed money and was being sued and when he ask who I was I told him I was banging his wife and daughter. He got kind of upset at that...I threw a few more racist insults his way and challenged him to come find me. If you want a good laugh, call back and give a bunch of fake info just to mess with them.
2nd call from this #....recording saying last attempt to reach me for IRS investigation. I called the phone back this time. Guy could barely speak English. Said he was Officer ?????, with the IRS. I explained to him that he was a fake and that he was calling a police officer's residence, and that I wanted to speak with his supervisor. He got very indignant and spoke even less English!!
