If you have received a phone call from this number regarding a grant or asking for any personal information, it is a scam. The person calling you is impersonating a government official, so please hang up immediately. Automated caller stating "your social security number has been suspended. Please call 512.937.2871 to clear up this matter."

I have gotten two calls from this number so far. I really have to wonder who would believe that the Office of the Inspector General would use Google phone and why bother trying to scam in states other than Texas?

This number has called me several times, leaving messages that say my social security number has been suspended. Please call before we arrest you. Pretty sure this is fraud

You would be correct. Your social security number cannot be suspended. And you wouldn't be warned in advance if you're going to be arrested. Block and ignore such calls.
