We have heard from this guy also. Sent a check in the amount of $1930. for a gregs list elliptical listed for $270.00. Strange...... what makes you think it is a scam, and did you check with bank that the check is drawn against? How did you know it is fake?
Wants to buy elliptical from me for $1300 from craig'slist, sends a Bank Check for $28xx.yy asks me to pay extra cash from check to delivery man when he sends his pickup person at my door.. I searched online for this number and found his name same as he texted me!! Brent Gresham!!!!! SCAM..I have the check but I know it is fake and I am notifying police in my town in Michigan.
Wanted to buy elliptical off Craigslist for $200 and send a check for $1738 and said to give the remaining money to movers. Luckily, I found out it was a scam when I came across this site and a few othrs when googling the phone #. Will be contacting the proper local authorities.
