Elder care facilities sales calls. You have to give up a phone number at their website to get simple information on care and costs; and now endure endless attempts to sell, sell, sell! :)
Yes, gave number to get info at A Place for Mom. Same thing, it calls several times a day and never leaves a message. I've never answered; I only had one simple question to ask them and don't have time for long sales pitches.
I left my house phone number on a website to get pricing info on a retirement community to go visit. All I wanted was pricing. This lady would only speak to the man of the house when I answered. Caller ID showed the call coming from Taylor TX. I was looking in San Antonio. Go figure. She would not talk to me. :-(
Asking for information allows them to legally call you. Now that you have provided them with your phone number expect a ton of calls from all sorts of scam companies.
