I got a call on my cell from this number and the operator answered with "Hello?" I proceeded to tell her that I got a missed call from this number and that's when she recited with "Hello my name is Emma Watson from the Internal Revenue Service" She picked the wrong Western name first of all and she had a very heavy Indian accident. I laughed out loud while on the line with her, hung up, then blocked her number right after. You all should do the same!
Knowing this was a complete scam...I toyed with callertaker who got so frustrated that he, (in his most broken pakistani) told me to go "f" my mother and sister. THEN told me he was going to, "break my teeth.
This is a final notice from the IRS please call. If I answer the call - he says he has a badge and if I don't pay TODAY - I will be arrested... Can we say harassment?
Call said it was the final notice. Contact them at the IRS that I owed money. Of course, I called back to cuss them out and the calls won't even go through. Can't ANYBODY stop the madness?! It doesn't matter if you block the number, it just rolls over to be called from another number the next time. Sickening!
They told me the same thing about it being the IRS and they are suing me. They have called back and told me to call the same number back for information. The number shows up from Austin, TX.
The call says it is coming from Austin, TX--it's a robotic woman's voice, and pretty much the same thing everyone else heard--it was the IRS, and they had a lawsuit against me. I hung up before they had time to tell me the number to call. Can you say scam?
