Called and said it was the IRS and they were going to sue me

Called and said they were with the IRS investigations dept. Asked questions about my taxes.

got called from this number, computer voice said I was being sued by irs and needed to call back--I returned call --got number was not in service...
I am NOT being sued by IRS...this is a [***] scam of some type that needs to be shut down!!!!

Also received a call from the "irs" threatening lawsuit. No letter or other procedures so this is probably a scam.

This is a scam/phishing call box thats using a VOIP that uses a Texas Number.  If it really was the IRS you would get a call from your state's IRS office or from Washington D.C. and you would also get regular mail correspondence in which they would want to you to Call them.  The IRS also wouldn't use a generic machine recording to call you either.  Again, this is an automatic phishing callbox using a VOIP number.
