This number has called my home several times and not left a message. Today a recorded message was left and it was a survey company. When I called the number back it was another recording identifying them as a company by the name of "Convergus" or "Convergence". They didn't not give another number to call or an opportunity to leave a message to remove me from their list...getting tired of these calls.
The four survey robocalls I've received in the last week have had to do with my husband's mortgage that Fifth Third Bank bank purchased 6+ years ago. In October of 2012 Fifth Third was sent a cease and desist all phone communication letter and claimed to remove my phone number from the account. The mortgage is in my husband's name while the phone is in mine. Since the beginning of the year I have received these calls on the phone number specifically listed in the cease and desist letter approximately every other month. When called they not only claim there is *no* cease and desist letter on file but refuse to "let" me "opt out" of the calls because the account is in my husband's name and my husband does not have time to sit on hold with them while he works long weekday hours.
It's a shame that their customer service reps don't understand why having to take time off in order to "opt out" of something that they were never supposed to do in the first place is unacceptable. The branch employees are fantastic but the company will lose our business just the same.
Phone calls from 513-208-2406. I am tired of these calls. I have caller ID and I am on the Do Not Call registry and they still call. STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I answer the phone after 2 rings and hang up on them.
Contact 5th 3rd bank fraud hotline at 1-800-676-5869. Do not enter an account number when prompted. Just keep entering the number they give for "all other calls". Then when you get a live person, report they, Convergys, are spoofing the fifth third banks good name doing this.
Also, instead of just blocking this number, if available as it is with Comcast, use your 'select' call forwarding option and forward this unwanted number so it calls right back to their corporate headquarters at 513-723-7000. yuck yuck. See how they like getting calls from their own robot caller. lol.
Also note, the person in charge of Convergys do not call list, George Sheehy, will insult you if you insult him, so tape your call with him and save it for ammunition later.
