ACT it is collection agency. It is Account Control Technology, Inc. They bill themselves as college loan consolidation but they are debt collectors. They have called me even though I have no debts. The first person would not tell me what company they were or how they got my name. They gave a bogus name and SSN and then asked inappropriate questions. I informed them that I was on the national do-not-call list. A very short argument later I was able to tell them to never call again. Apparently they have been calling my front desk every day, again. This time it is Paula Moore (unknown spelling). I am beginning to gather my paperwork and record phone calls so I will be able to file a lawsuit against them. i suggest you do the same. They called me saying I am listed as a reference for Michael Collings. When I said I didn't know the person and asked for the company she was calling from she said IT something generic. Can you explain to me the scam? Or what they're doing? I don't have any outstanding debt and they didn't ask me for anything
I am on national do not call list and I do not give this number out unless I know the person !! No message was left so it couldnt have been to important !!
