I rec'd the same call today but from a female. Her message was funny stating that if I don't call back that I waive the right to an attorney LOL Scammers are everywhere !
Man with a southern twang, Russell Wilson, left a message stating he was from the fraud division (of what, I don't know), and stated that my name and social security number may be involved in an on-going legal investigation, and that this was a time sensitive matter, and I needed to call back. My identity has been stolen, so this smells of another scam.
I have received other messages like this from other phone numbers - they keep changing the numbers. I won't be calling back!
Another scam - beware!
Received the same message as above. So tired of these so call people calling and scamming. I repeatly report them to the FDC and the Attorney Generals office. They just keep changing their numbers. Please get a life and leave working people alone. If this was a true legal matter we would be in court, which is my next step with these [***].
Scam! First of all, his Texas twang is fake...I can spot a phony southern accent pretty easily. Secondly, when the caller doesn't identify the business or entity from which they are calling, it's a scammer.. Government agencies do not call you if you are under investigation.Legitimate businesses don't leave ominous messages in your voicemail.
