Call came from 513-286-4933 and they told me that this was their 3rd and final attempt to make sure my car was under warranty. I thought at first it was from dealership since i just dropped my car off this morning. As soon as I made the comment I have the extended warranty and questioned what car he was talking about the caller wanted to transfer me to someone else; would not say who they were or worked for. When I tried to call the number back it won't even dial and I only get a "goodbye"
Keep getting calls from this loser. My caller ID always says Clermont, Ohio. No such place as Clermont, Ohio. Clermont County yes, but no Clermont town village or city. Also calls from 513-718-0514. Call backs to this number gets only emptiness, no ring, no dial tone, no busy signal, just silence as if there is no phone at all. Of course of DNC list is useless as is most everything else the fed govt does.
The DNCR is not block calls. Nor is there a list. It simply stops legitimate businesses from calling. However there are exceptions (charities, surveys, political & those you have done business with).
Having said that, I treat all unfamiliar calls as potential scam since I believe there are those that use these loopholes in a effort get around the exceptions.
This was obviously a solicitation as the caller asked if I currently had more than $5000 in unsecured debt. I answered with "Who is this?" and he disconnected.
