Received persistent calls from this and several other numbers, soliciting for a charity, which seems to be affiliated with Emmanuel Outreach Ministries, based in Merced, Anaheim, or Fullerton California. About this same time, also began receiving mail solicitations for charities with similarly dire-sounding names:
America Assisting Veterans Program, Emmanuel Temple, Federal Tax ID#33-0768089
American Veterans Assistance Foundation, Emmanuel Outreach Ministries, Federal Tax ID#33-0642531
Hospitalized Children Fund, Emmanuel Outreach Ministries, Federal Tax ID#33-0642531
National Coalitions of Disabled Firefighters, Emmanuel Temple, Federal Tax ID#33-0768089
The caller uses spoofed numbers and asks to pick up donations IN PERSON, which certainly raises suspicion. The mailed items include a return envelope to an address in California, which appears to be a suite of PO boxes only.
Other numbers used:
513-824-2302
513-903-9944
513-615-5108
