This man called our home several times claiming to be a fraud Investigator, investigating for Harris County in Houston TX. Saying that my daughter needed to contact him immediately.
Thomas Gibson investigating for Harris County in Houston but his phone number is a Ohio number.
Yes Thomas Gibbs call my mother saying he was a fraud Investigator and i was going to issue a summon for me to be arrested. He asked for me while threating my mother her telling her that i was going to jail. She call me I call he back he was rude wouldn't let me talk. Then he put me on hold saying he was busy with other cases and investigators for 5 minites. Thomas gibbs said I had a payday loan from 2007 I paid like a dummy. Then I was uneasy about it because I remember I never took out a payday lone in 2007. So the next day I call the corporate office of the payday loan company the say I owed. They said I dont owe any money to them and there is a scam going around. They told me a lady call them yesterday saying that someone call her saying she owed money on a payday loan. She had a open loan. I called my bank they are investigating. Everyone need to file a repore with their local police and file a report with the FBI. This dude need to be stop!!!!

Before paying any body tell them give you the information you will check it out and get back with them.
Got a phone call from Thomas Gibson or Gibbs stating he was calling from "Check Investigations" about a fraud case in Texas. He had our name & address - husband got concerned and returned the call before I got the message and checked it out. Read a couple of other comments on this website. We don't owe anyone and don't intend to be duped. The best advice I can give anyone out there is DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION - ASK FOR PROOF!!! By law if a creditor contacts you for a debt they must provide proof of debt - either in writing or other evidence. If he calls my house again I have instructed the hubby to ask for written proof of debt: date of debt incurred, description of product I am being dunned for and contact information for the debtor that I supposedly owe. If they cannot provide that information you are being scammed.
