Another call saying I am being investigated, and if I don't call by the end of today, I waive my right to counsel. This man had a southern accent - that's a new one - and he sounded very mean. This number is out of Ohio - I think it's tied to these other numbers:
740-513-2519, and 419-520-9623
These numbers say the same thing, only a woman's voice is on these calls - I believe it is a recording also, because on all of them, part of the message sounds like it's underwater. I have blocked these numbers, and they still continue to call! I can't take this anymore, every day, all day! I am getting a new phone number! Someone please advise me what else I can do. My identity has already been stolen, and now I have to deal with this every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRIMINAL TELESCAMMERS. Liberty Township, Ohio prefix/area code. Called me at corporate loaner phone, not in my name. Does not announce their name, or the claim information, or your name, just your owe and have not paid. Pay today, otherwise rights are waived. Got two of the same calls, also from Ohio numbers in last two days. CALLER BLOCKED NOW.
They are scammers. They tried this garbage with me and I happen to know the law. First of all its against the law for them to threaten criminal action under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Second of all, they allege that I took out a payday loan, and then said something about a bad check. If they were legit, they would know there's a statute of limitations for prosecution in most states of 2-3 years.
They were all over the map. I had them chasing their tail trying to answer my questions and come clean, so they hung up on me, and now won't answer the phone when I call.
