be careful everyone! The guy calling is a lier. He will lock you down your computer ant force you to buy something. I'm so stupid to believe him. Is there a way to sue this guy?
This is a SCAM from India, using multiple spoofed numbers. I played along and made him go through his entire pitch about how my "Windows computer" had alerted Microsoft that it had serious errors and malware that needs removed and fixed immediately, and that my computer had been sending that message each time I was online the past few days. I then told him I found that to be an interesting situation and that I knew him to be a lying criminal from India because my only computer is a Mac, which does not run Windows! He of course couldn't hang up fast enough!
The lame part is, I just got calls from a number that on researching it, was the exact same caller, I blocked it, and now he's calling with this number? With all the NSA phone and net monitoring going on, I wonder why no law enforcement seems interested in shutting these scammers down...
