Soon after in about one day, Macy's collection service will call from the following numbers to you, 702-366-0303, 866-849-3243, day and night, one call to me was at 3:00 a.m. and the number was a fake: +7778888. When you picked the phone, the caller hanged up, apparently no intention to talk to you but to harrass you. My two little children were woken up middle of the night and were scared. I got scared too.
I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly. I called back today and a woman answered. She said I have a balance due with Macys. It cannot be true as I am not using this card, and it is clear for the past year at least. She asked for my personal info, and I refused to give any information over the phone. I asked her to send me a written request. You can't be too careful these days.
They've called me repeatedly for the past two weeks and either not leaving a message or leaving one with an electronic voice that says to call back because it's an urgent matter...Really creepy...
Someone else answered the call, when asked what it was in reference to, they hung up. Then they called back 2 hours later and left a message on my machine: This is message is for ______ ______. This is Mr. D. Please call me back at 1-866-593-3926. It is regarding a personal business matter.
When I called back, this is what the recording said: Our office is currently closed. Please call back during our business hours, Monday through Thursday 9am to 9pm or Friday 9am to 5 pm. One of our agents will be happy to assist you then. (then it disconnects the call)
