I got a call(513-605-7537) from the the other day. They are a collection agency for student loans. I informed them that I would not conduct business over the telephone. I asked then to submit all documentation to me through certified mail and got some sad story about how an atty mush review all letters and that could delay the process. I told him that was fine as I was not in any hurry to pay the debt that I owe!!
It's a collection agency GRC. I managed to stop the calls after I dialed the number back and spoke to a man who after verifying my name and phone number agreed to remove my number off their list.
This was the first call from them. Showed on my caller ID. I've had other calls also and they are looking for some guy named Scott. The all seem to think I'm full of crap when I tell them there is nobody here with that name.
