I just received another call from the same number and same guy who left me the message on 1-24-13. Regarding nursing jobs in Arizona for $1650 a week with overtime and to call (866) 871-0568. What a pain in the neck.
I operate a company switchboard. Called 3 times in a row @ 10:45 today. When I hung up, it re-rang. On the 3rd time, I listened to the whole recorded message, then it hung up on me after the recorded message ended. They were offering jobs in New Mexico for RN's with sign on bonus of $500. Funny, this number is from Ohio. It caused me to miss another incoming call.
Well, I filed a complaint with the FCC this afternoon. This company buys the database from nursing boards in each state and then calls indiscriminately without even looking to see if you are on the do-not-call list. Fortunately, the FCC tells you up front that if they call with a product or service (finding you a job for a fee), they are in violation of the do-not-call rule. So, if you receive a call from these &@#*% jerks, please go to FCC.gov and fill out a complaint. That is the only way we can get them to stop. I even added a photo of my caller ID to prove what I stated.
In the mean time, I have added them to my blocked callers on my Digitone.
I hope more people turn these telemarketing jacka**es in.
I received a call on my cell phone from this number (513) 729-9850 as I can't use my cell phone (I work at a high school) and the rule is no cell phones used in class nor in my office. The message that was left was from Blain from Taylor Healthcare offering a job for nurses. I am a secretary NOT a nurse. I'm also on the do not call list and I still get calls from these companies - what a pain in the neck.
