Received the same call as Kathy and called back. Spoke with Nikki who said she is with PFS (Primerica Financial Services) and that they were looking to open fifty offices in Cincinnati. Fifty? I'm not even sure there are fifty McDonald's in Cincinnati! Anyway, thanked her for the call, but told here I wasn't interested. Did some research, seems PFS is a financial services MLM where you have to pay them an initial $199.99 for a background check and part of your licenses to sell life insurance, etc. They are the marketing arm for Citigroup, who last I heard, received close to $45 billion in TARP money from the government. It's a legit company, but so is Amway.
After putting my resume up on CareerBuilder.com, I received a call from 513-772-0163 wanting to set up an appointment / interview. Made the appt., then canceled once I found this website.
Seems a pretty slimy to me. Seems like all this website does is generate spam and unsolicited calls!
I also received a call from 513-772-0163 (Erin and Patrick) about setting up an appointment for an interview. I thought it was somewhat sketchy when I asked how they obtained my number and name and they said through corporate contact. Also they didn't tell me anything about their company until I asked. All i received was the Acronym. After looking here and doing more reasearch it seems that poster Ellery is correct. It isn't a pyramid scheme but a sort of MLM that is a part of Citigroup. I am canceling my appointment.
I also received a call from 513.772.0163 - same drill. Patrick said he got my number from a corporate contact... not sure where he got it, as my number is not published. Was not at all forthcoming with any details about the positions they were interviewing for... asked for his email address, and he was hesitant to give it to me... had to ask 3 times for the name of the company. Shady.
