claims to have a great career opportunity as a financial "advisor" (selling insurance probably)and called my cell phone. I think he harvested my cell number off of monster while I was conducting interviews.
Got a call at my home phone from Jim Sebastian that he had a great job opportunity for me. No idea how he got my name or number. He did not identify what company he works for. He did have info about the type of work I do, though.
This hillbilly conartist (crook) called me at 3:05 in the afternoon with a QA job offer--full or part-time. The call was obviously bogus, i.e. the [***] didn't know my first name. Might be the Ukranian botnet consortium which has managed to hack into the federal Office of Personnel Management's database. Sad but true. "ihatefones" states that he thinks that it's Monster that's been hacked. Maybe...except that I've had no transactions on Monster; whereas I've input info to OPM's usajob.gov. Bottom line: the shyster hillbilly is getting raw phone number data and cross-referencing said number with DIRECTORY-LISTED info.
