This number calls my home landline number multiple times a day, no message left. I tried to call the number back and heard only a message stating: "The number you dialed is not in service, please check the number and dial again." I have no idea who they are or what they want, and its frustrating to not be able to even get on a do not call list.

I've given up on the whole DNC List. I mean look at the acronym, what other useless government acronym is it in common with it? Just create a contact labeled JUNK and every scam caller you get and at least you don't have to guess at what kind of call it is. Not sure if it would help landline owners unless you have a phone that stores numbers or something. At last count I think I had accumulated over 25 junk numbers.
I agree I just talked to them and told them we have enough goverment programs now such as HEAP .I also told them to never call this number again. ...We'll see how long that lasts
