Who called from 5137819444

This person calls people who have placed lost dog/wallet/etc., ads on Craigs List, telling you they've found your lost dog/wallet/etc., and will return it to you for personal info/a fee/you name it. Or something about your google account number . . ..   WORST type of scammer - preying on people who are missing a pet . . .

Called about a lost wallet, claimed to be deaf.  Wanted details of addresses etc.  Pretty sure this person will burn in hell someday.

Got a text saying, "Hi ,My name is Katherine Mclam I'm a deaf. Your wallet was found and if you can name whats inside the wallet and where you lost it and described the wallet to me with the wallet Pictures.also provide correct information with your full name and address matching on ID and I will be more than happy to return it. Email me at [email protected] for more details, Thank you Katherine." Looks like they got my info from a lost wallet post on Craigslist. First clue of the scam is the text is riddled with typos. Second clue is that they're trying to get me to communicate through other means so Craigslist can't track them. Third clue is that is she really had my wallet, she would know that there is no ID in there. Don't fall for this scammer!

I received this EXACT message after posting a stolen wallet/purse ad on CL. I found her text weird because in the ad I included a picture of my wallet, exact location of where it was stolen, and my name on CL matched the ID that would have been in my wallet. Yet she asked for all of this information in the text.
Also nobody would ever ask for your full address, and you should never give it out...Be careful.
