someone from this number texted me, supposedly inquiring about an item I've got for sale on Craigs List.  In this ad, they wanted to mail me a certified bank check, plus an additional $100 to hold this item for them until they got back to this area.  Keeping in mind, I'm in North Carolina, and this number is in Ohio.  Turns out they were scamming to attempt to get personal information on me, because I insisted that they see the item prior to making a deal, and that I preferred cash.  Didn't hear back from them after that, so I texted them that I was going to report them to the authorities, FCC, as well as The Do Not Call Registry........Momma didn't raise no fool :-).......just wanted to give you folks a heads up......
