Just received a call from (513) 828-0105 at 12:47pm on 4/5/2013. The caller ID said "VIPPromotions" and they didn't leave a message. Anyone know who they are?
Caller asked for a name I've never heard of. When told they didn't work here they asked for the IT manager. I told him that we don't accept solicitations and he hung up.
Asked for an unknown name. When advised that name not in our directory, asked what department he was looking for, he said "I see have a nice day." then hung up.

Dennis from Marketing Alert wanted to speak with a particular manager. When I said the person was unavailable, Mr. Pushy replied, "Well, I'll shoot him an email." I stated, "That is against [company] policy." He responded loudly, "That's all right, thank you," and hung up. No, it's not all right; we don't accept solicitations via email. Prediction: he'll follow up in a few days and be told that it was either deleted or sent to the Spam folder; therefore, he should go by the rules and snail mail his data to Purchasing. By the way, what makes him think that he has the correct email address?
