JUst got call twice from a guy with an accent. First time my father answered. He told him that computer was acting fine and hung up. He called right back and asked to speak with my dad (said his name). I asked what for and he told me that he was getting messages from Microsoft that the computer wasn't working. I told him that I was just on it for about 1 hour and that it worked fine. He then said that someone was hacking into the computer and that it needed to be fixed right away. I told him fine, thanks a lot and that I would fix it. He persisted in saying that it needed to be fixed right away, and I kept saying that I would to it, thanks a lot and hung up. People don't fall for this man. His persistence proved that he is a scam!!
Same thing. Wanted control of my computer. The women had an accent I could hardly understand. Very persistent until I told her I was calling the cops after the 3rd call from 513-879-8699
