navient - sallie mae or student load related

fraudulent debt collection scam. report to authorities immediately

they call here 3 or 4 times a day and want a return call....don't know what they could possibly want but I'm not calling them back
Caller ID says navient and I haven't been a student for 40 years and never had a student loan

I had a call from these jerks

They open the call, not hello, but

This call is being recorded,

they then ask for someone I have never heard of, I asked her to repeat it and she gave me a name and a company, neither of which I had heard of.

I told them to roll back and tell me first of all who they are,

They said "general revenue corporation", I suggested that they might open the call by introducing themselves and saying where they were calling from, they said they were not allowed to.

I said what kind of company are you, what are you selling, she said she was not selling anything.

I then confirmed the number she called and it was my number, she then said my company name (nothing like the company she was seeking) I told here we had never had that person working here, she said he was an account manager here for 10 years.  We have not even been in business that long.

Then she hung up

I Googled general revenue corporation and it says they are debt collectors

Finally answered after being badgered with no less than 6 calls a day! They asked for someone I'd never heard from then said I would no longer receive calls from them. Now I'm concerned since others say this is a scam.
