Called our business. Had some information. Got callers name. Called back and claimed verbal authorization for some advertising. Then tried to collect money. Unpleasant rip-off liars scam. From Canada. I ask them to hold, then put them on eternal hold to waste as much of their time as possible.
these folks from Canada have called our business twice in the last 5 mo claiming we agreed verbally to advertise in some online business directory. They have no website and the directory itself cannot be found online. They are scam artists. I suppose they send you an invoice and when you don't pay it, they contact your AP to tell them you are past due. Some probably pay it w/o checking it. Not me baby. Filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. Screw'em.

Called my workplace, asked for me personally, confirmed address and then slyly noted that invoice would be included with business guide. When I questioned the amount due and reported I don't have authority to confirm that payment, they quickly ended the conversation. Found it funny they didn't ask to speak with my manager, obviously a scam!

Called our business asked to verify name and address with my employee. Claimed they were with a business name that reminded you of Mediacom. Then stated we owned them $599 for advertising we had agreed to. Quickly told my employee that it was a scam and to hang up. BEWARE
