The email is legit... but can be as simple as the scammer going to the Tmobile site and sending the texts from there.  That's why it shows up as  @tmomail.net.  Don't do anything except delete the texts.  It's a scammer trying to get you to call the number and give your personal information.
Unfortunately, since Tmobile has the option on their site to send texts from the site, it's really easy for scammers to work through the site and make it look like it's coming from the phone company.  Just remember, if there's issues with your accounts (phone, credit card, etc) they will ALWAYS call you!

got a different msg from same #:
"[email protected] /  / Important: C.U.AccountLimited.Call at 5142277324"
t-mobile has special emails set up for each subscriber: ph#@tmomail.net (ph# is 10-digit # without any extra characters). this email can be managed online through their website. i believe i've set up mine to only allow emails from certain senders but obviously something doesn't work.
i agree that this is a scam. if you believe you have a genuine problem with your financial institution, i would suggest that always *you* initiate contact and only at a number that is known to belong to your institution. if you receive a call, i advise that you take down the caller (or case info) and call them back at a known number that you've used before. only then should you be giving out personal information.
