These people keep phoning. They say they are from "Merchant Services", whatever that's supposed to imply. They ask for the owner by name, which they probably gleaned from our Dun & Bradstreet listing or something similar.

This number showed for male caller asking for the company pres. When I replied that he wasn't here, could I help or take a msg, he said 'I'll call back', and hung up.
The number displayed on your phone is not necessarily the number assigned by their phone service provider, but a digital 'alias' for lack of better description.
Telemarketing firms represent many different companies, so the same firm can call for different programmes.
BUT, hanging up without speaking hardly serves the purpose of telemarketing, suggesting they may be bogus.
