This is a scam. It seems to be targeted at Verizon customers. It has been going on for a few months. They have used multiple phone numbers. They are trying to get your credit card information. From what I have read, they have sent a few variations of the same text to people, either just saying to call, or saying to call about an "issue" with "debit card/credit card/mastercard." In my first text it said "credit card issue -please call 1-514-316-2010." The second text that I received just said to call the number and said nothing else. I looked up the company that they claim to be coming from, USDirectExpress (in my case) and confirmed this is a scam. Some people said they called the number given and were prompted by an automated system to enter their credit card information or were just disconnected. You should report this to Verizon (I did) and to USDirectExpress, which I discovered is a real company that funds government issued debit cards.
