Don't have my number anywhere online (and don't have internet on my phone), I am with Rogers. I'm assuming they're just mass texting sequential blocks of phone numbers or something, since that's the only way I can think of them getting my #.
Forward all such texts to 7726, all the major carriers use that number to report spam texts. Also, don't visit any websites found in text from unknown callers. You will most likely get malicious software infecting your smartphone or computer if you do.
