I asked him how it could be a renewal if we've never signed up with them before to which he asked again if I could confirm our address. I told him we were interested and he quickly hung up before I could even finish my sentence.

Phoned and asked for the general manager. I said just a minute and put them on hold and left them holding until they finally hung up. When someone calls and asks for the manager you know it is not a business call. Hope they phone back so I can put them on hold again.
Watch out! I just received a call from this guys asking questions about my business and trying to confirm the contact information. At the end the lady calling said that they will send to the email I provided an invoice for almost $200 for 2016 renewal on the Ontario Online Business Listing. Obviously I never announced my business there and said that I don't agree to their scam.
