My wife received a call from 514-560-2569; a crying man passing as her son told her he had gone to Escondido California to his friends funeral who had been killed by a truck. Then he said that while he was riding a taxi on his way to the airport the police had stopped it and found three bricks of marijuana in it and arrested both, the driver and him.
Since he couldn't talk because he was to distressed, he gave his cell phone to a policeman who was helping him through this ordeal. The policeman (Deputy Ronald Carter) told my wife to send $3,000.00 bond money to the police station through green dot MoneyPak to prevent her son from going to prison. Since MoneyPak doesn't allow to send more than $500.00 per card, she bought six of them; then she called "Deputy Ronald Carter" and read to him the numbers on the back of the cards which need to be scratched just like lottery tickets. This is a scam!
