This caller tells you a [***] story that they are a member of your family and that they got in an accident in Canada and landed in Jail and need thousands sent to them right away to bail them out and not to tell anyone cause they are so embarassed that they don't want anyone to know and they need the money now. They even had another person call to say that they were the lawyer and was trying to set up where the money was to be sent.
Same EXACT thing happend this week to my elderly father about my son...same number said his name was Jean M Dube a publice defender...my dad wired over $1000 turns out my son was in the wire USMC working for the last2 days. I am livid. Scum is on earth but karma is a [***]. People that prey on the heartstrings of anyone should tor in hell.
Today, Jan31, 2012 the same thing happened to my parents, using my son (their grandson) as the one who needed the money. He knew my son's name, and he said his name was Patrick O'reiley. My parents went to wire the money and the clerk at Western Union convinced them that is was a scam. OMG--they
almost sent the money. They did go to the police.
