This is 'Corporal Eric Lamark' from the Montreal Police who, on 8/13/10, called to say they had our grandson on a DUI charge and wanted us to wire bail money to a bail bondsman in Los Angeles. This officer even put our 'grandson' on who, when told it didn't sound like him, wailed and cried loudly that he didn't sound the same because he had been locked up in a cell, crying all night. When told we were going to call his mom, he wailed even louder, begging us not to tell his mom because he had lied to her last night, claiming to be studying in San Diego when he was really in Montreal. A call to our grandson confirmed he was in San Diego, not Montreal. 'Corporal Eric Lamark' called back, wondering why the money had not yet arrived --- at which time we informed him our local police would be returning the call for us.
