got a call from this number, it IS a Montreal Canada number...called saying from Ft. Hood National Bank & Wanted to reactivate my card...don't even have an account at this bank..was not transferred.
I got the same call this weekend. It claimed to be some credit company saying they were going to shut down my debit card. It was also nice enough to ask me if I wanted to turn it back on. To do this all I had to do was give them my info, what a load of crap. I searched for the phone number and it is based in Canada. For sure a scam.
I got a call from this number stating that my debit card had been locked and to press 1 to find out more details. I hung up. I called the number on the back of my card and they said it was not locked. . . that everything was fine with my card.
