Impersonating a court officer is a crime. Bailiffs do not repossess cars. With the scant information you posted, there is very little more that I can tell you. It would be counterproductive for them to call and warn you though. You can call the county courthouse up and ask them if they have a bailiff by that name. I am pretty sure they never heard of him.
