Woman on line tried to make herself sound like she was making a personal call, then said she had a quick question about the Iowa caucuses, refused to identify the organisation she was working for. We gave no info and hung up. Suspicious, very shady tactic.
A woman called me on a Sunday morning asking to speak to a person whose name is not associated with anyone in our home. I replied that she had the wrong number . She proceeded to ask me if I would take a quick survey. I shouted, "NO"! What part of this conversation does she not get? Isn't it illegal to solicit on Sunday? I called the number back shortly afterwards & got a recording that the number was not in service, but, that is may be monitored by Google... go figure. Location according to my caller id was Boone, IA.
They called earlier this morning, waking me, asking to speak with Harry, Mary, Larry, or Sherrie. I said, "No, none of them is here." Then, he asked about the upcoming caucus - if I would go, who would I support, and if that support would be strong. I gave some conflicting answers then wrang off, thanking him for his concern.
