They called me, to ask me to renew my Bassmaster magazine. If I renewed it for
3 years, they would give me a $300 gas card. I asked if the card would work
with our local gas stations and they told me that I would have to give them
my credit card number before they could answer that question. SCAM!!

They buy general mailing lists and then try and scam you into "renewing" a subscription you never had. I'm seriously considering keeping a whistle by the phone and blowing it when these calls come in
Got call, didn't answer . They left no message. I have use a whistle in pass for company like this, or just answer ,,put i never say a word . Then few mintues later hang up on them. It's thier money.
