Who called from 5152164595

Called earlier this morning, while I was still resting. A few seconds after I answered, a female came on the line asking for someone whose name I've don't know. I asked what relationship she has with this person. She mentioned the name of a company, and said there are "some allegations against him." I told her no one by that name is at this address. She said, "OK." Then she rang off. This is not the first time, recently, I've gotten calls (from various numbers) regarding "allegations against" people whose names I have never heard. All the CID listed for this number was "DES MOINES IA." All I could find when I searched is that it is registered in Waukee, a suburb of Des Moines. I do not remember the company name the caller mentioned. It was probably false, also.

Reps name was "Michael Brown" told me I should watch my back because "a lot of things can happen to me"
They apparently have some fake litigation on me, and are pressing charges.
I told them to take me to court, as I owe nothing!

I had this same thing happen to me, stating that there were legal charges pending on me but wouldn't give me any information on it. I told her that I was not going to "settle" on anything without documents showing what I supposedly owed. She got short and said, "hire a lawyer and best of luck," then hung up.

Refusal to give company information or MAIL written documentation of a "debt" on request is a violation of the FDCPA .  That plus a hang up on you  should tell you quite a bit about the caller.

I had the same call I live in des moines so I picked it up. What's funny is I get calls from many different states but it's always the same person hahaha and she always says best of luck  no info she wanted me to give her my ss number I'm not that dumb lol I told her to send me papers then she hung up
