These people are a scam claiming there is a pending fraud claim and they are going to send the local authorities to your home or place of business.  They called left a message for my wife on my cell phone threating this idiotic stuff.  My wife is disabled and she doesn't even work.  The case numbers they give don't match court case numbers and if someone is going to serve you they will just do it not call you on the phone and warn you and tell you to call them or they will do it.  They are reading off a script and they don't even identify who they are. they cant even talk in a professional manner it sounds like some ghetto fabulous deadbeat on the other end of the line.  These are bottom feeding scumbag criminals. Just block the number and move on.  Reporting them will do nothing. They will just get a new number and call again.  If I ever answer I always tell them I am a lawyer and ask them all sorts of questions they cant answer and it gets them flustered and they usually hang up.

A lady representing this phone number calls my home a cell phone 6 to 8 times per day telling me that there are two fraudulent charges associated with my name and social security number. This place also called my daughter's home number looking for information. This is ridiculous. Why can't these people be stopped?

This is (one of many) criminal extortion scams that have been going on for years. Many are operating overseas and out of the reach of US law enforcement, while others are operating within the confines of prison cells here in the US, using contraband cell phones. Others are using VOIP. Either way, they are able to disguise their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to prosecute. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting victims' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
