I received a call around 8:30 this morning from an English speaking man with a thick Indian accent. He claimed to be from the West Des Moines Police Department which is my local PD here in Iowa. He said that there is a lawsuit against me and they have received an arrest warrant with 24 hours to act on it. He asked if I knew anything of the case and i replied no. He said "that's disturbing" and that I need to call my "State Department' to receive details at number 940-440-8111. I already knew this was a scam as I've fielded these types of calls before. Also the number he called me from is out of Camnridge, IA a.d is definitly not any of the WDM PD numbers as I've come to know them very well due to having called them numerous times for my domestic situation. My advice is to just be cprdial and ablige these weirdos because if you try to argue they become very mean and threatening
