They just called me from this number - a mysterious company called "warranty help desk" telling you your car warranty expired. They didn't even know what vehicle I owned so they are basically spamming people.
Company called "warranty help desk". I have been getting messages on my cellphone saying the warranty on my car has expired and needs to be reactivated immediately. Finally I picked up and got these people on the phone. I asked what vehicle they were calling about and they said they don't have that information, that it would be any vehicle I own between 1999-2007. Obviously spammers.

Earlier, house phone got a call from "Unknown Name, Unknown Number." Been getting those everyday several times a day. Don't answer those either. Tried the call back feature and they have their number blocked. To track that caller down "I" have to pay to put a trap on my phone. So the victim continues to pay to be victimized.
Today when that "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" called again I picked up the phone and didn't say anything and the house was quiet. Eventually a man said "hello? hello?" a few times before he finally gave up and hung up. Hopefully that'll be the last call from "Unknown Name, Unknown Number."
I too got a call today, my cell phone ID'd the number, but caller left no message. I'm with you, not wasting daytime minutes for an unknown, especially one who won't leave a message.
