asking to pre-register for the do not call list and aking for personal financial info-and getting calls from craigs list. this is scam since FTC will never call you to register for this service-it's free and you have to do it yourself. This must be stopped
Got a call on my cell phone from this number. Man with accent identified himself as paul from American Financial Services. Wanted to know if I want to refinance my mortgage (which I don't have as a renter). When I said I don't have a mortgage he asked if I had any credit card debt at which point I informed him that my number is on the Do Not Call list and he said goodbye and hung up.
received a call on my cell from this number. Could hardly understand the caller due to heavy accent. Hung up when for the third time he tried to say where he was from and I couldn't recognize what he was saying.
This number called me today (a man with a thick accent) saying I was being offered a free cell phone from Bell Mobility. I was confused because my caller ID identified the number as from Iowa. I inquired as to why Bell (a Canadian company) was calling me from the US. He ignored the question, 4 or 5 times, before I said "NO THANK YOU" and he hung up.
Received two calls from 1-515-369-5805, once yesterday which I picked up. Guy with heavy accent trying to offer me a free cell phone from Bell Mobility. I eventually hung up on him as he was persistent beyond belief. This morning same number called and I didn't pick up. I'll be reporting this number to Telus and Bell Mobility as well.
called our office 3 times today... first two hung up before I he even said anything... third time asked for the owner of the business and when I told him they were unavailable he hung up on me! wish he would stop calling.
