I received a text message stating my Legacy Bank card had been deactivated and that I needed to call the 515-369-5932 number to discuss my card today. When you call the number it states that it is Legacy bank and immediately requests your full card number. I dont have an account with Legacy Bank but called the number to see what it was. If it is not the Bank the customers that call that number are just giving them their card number and I am sure if you put in a card number it will then ask for your pin. My account with another bank was recently cleaned out by an Internet fraud group. Though I am careful I have no idea how they got my information. This is a new one on me. If you have an account with legacy dont call the number on the message and give them any information. Call a number that you know is a real Legacy Bank number to report the message you received. Be careful out there.
